A worry shared is a worry halved.
On Monday night we met in the park and played some games. We also had an opportunity to tell others what we are worried about at the moment. Will the 11+ be happening? what if it has to be cancelled? How will I know which GCSE courses to pick? I'm scared of catching the virus, will I be able to keep up with schoolwork? Will we be able to have Hallowe'en? Will School shut down again? Then we shared ideas for how to reduce the worries, and finally made worry dolls. The button will take you to the 'No Doubts' Activity that you can do at home or school with friends or family. To make the worry doll you'll need a long pipe cleaner and a half size one, plus about a metre of wool. It was full dark by the time we had finished, and torches came in useful. Let us know if you try the activity at home. |
