Flashback
We began with a 1910 evening when we wore typical clothes and tried some of the activities from 'How Girls Can Help to Build Up the Empire'. These included drill, making Union Jacks from chalk, knotting games, Kim's game and singing 'God save the King'.
Each patrol ran part of an evening for the 1940s challenge. The activities they chose included Yoga, target 100 and games in the dark.
What A Performance!
We went with the Brownies to see 'Holiday on Ice' at the Echo Arena.
Ice Cool
A few of us went ice skating in the autumn, and again in May.
We chilled out by learning how to give a relaxing head and back massage. The we invited our Mums for a pamper evening, offering massages, face packs, smoothies and cakes.

We joined the Rainbows, Brownies and Senior Section for a District Centenary Party. We played traditional party games and ate traditional party tea.
We've also been on the County Trip to the Zoo, and held a weekend camp where the theme was 'A World Cruise'.
In the dark
We held a sleepover which included singing in the dark and having a midnight feast.
Look up High
We planted crocus bulbs in the shape of 100. Considering we did this by the light of one torch, we are pleased that the croci have come up in a recognisable 100 shape.
In June we walked to the viewfinder at the top of the hill. It was a lovely clear evening so we could see for many miles all around.
Wacky 100
Everyone was challenged to give up something for 100 minutes, hours or days. Chocolate, mobile phones or TV were amongst the sacrifices. Sponsorship or donations helped raise money.
Wet and Wild
On a lovely evening in July most of the guides and both of the leaders went canoeing and kayaking on the Marine Lake.
Moving
We held a Wacky Races Evening and invited brownies and our friends to join us. There were races with balloons and chocolate eggs and newspaper fish and even a sitting down race! There were medals and prizes too.
Future
We dressed in uniforms from days gone by, then had a go at designing ones for the future.
