Burns Night and Birdwatching
On Monday it was Burns Night - the celebration of the birthday of Robbie Burns, the famous Scottish poet.
We know that the traditional meal is Haggis, so we imagined what a wild haggis looks like and each built a part of it from junk materials. The photos were sent to Sparkle Unicorn who worked her magic and managed to create a couple of whole haggises from the parts.
Then we played an active game based on the traditional dress, and finally learned to sing Auld Lang Syne properly. (no joining hands until the last verse!)

During the week we had a little bit of snow. Spotty-Cat Penguin managed to create some miniature cats on a spotty toadstool.
